- The aim of this course is to equip staff with the skills and knowledge required to safely administer medication in a variety of healthcare and residential care settings.
- Requirements
- There are currently no prerequisites for this course. Students must be proficient in English such that they can read prescriptions and medication directions.

- This course is designed for those working in the health or social care sector. This can include healthcare workers who administer or assist with the administration of an individuals medication.

- The course is facilitated by an instructor who will use PowerPoint presentation as well as video examples to guide you through the course. The course is delivered through English.
- Duration & Assessment
- The course is 6 hours long. Students will be evaluated on the practical skills demonstrated during the course as well as undertaking a written assessment.
- Certification
- Upon successful completion of this course students will be issued with a certificate. This cert will be valid for two years.
